Disodium Hydrogen Citerate:

• It is used to make the urine less acidic
• It belongs to class of drugs known as urinary alkalinizer
• Reduces the urinary saturation of stone forming calcium salt
• It is also used as an acidity regulator

Mode of Action

• It basically metabolized to bicarbonates and that increase urinary pH than by  increasing the excretion of free bicarbonate ions
