Levocitrizine 5mg+Montelukast Sodium 10 Mg

Levocitrizine:

• It is an antihistamine
• Controls the immediate urticarial responses
• H1 receptor affinity is twice more potent than of
  cetirizine

Mode of Action:

• Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine receptors.
• It does not prevent the actual release of histamine
  from mast cells, but prevents it binding to its
  receptors.

Montelukast Sodium:

• It controls late phase allergic reaction
• Reduces night time awakening, snoring and nasal
  congestion

Mode of Action:

• This drug works by blocking certain natural
  substances (leukotrienes) that may cause or worsen
  asthma and allergies
• It helps in breathing easier by reducing
  swelling(inflammation) in the airways
